Grid & Layout Style Guide

Hi all,

For reference purposes I've listed below the grid and layout specifications. The grid data is for reference only, please do not change the settings in your Sample .indd master page document. If you are having problems please email me first before changing any of the settings within your layout.

Grid: 2 x 5 - 88mm x 54mm
Top margin: 12mm
Bottom margin: 18mm
Side margin: 12mm
Column Gutter: 4mm
Gutter (Inside Page Margins) 24mm
Bleed: 5mm


Body Copy:

Text Lead Pt Size: 8.5 / 14
Alignment: *Aligned to baseline grid*
Space After previous Paragraph: 14pt (4.939mm)
Justification: Left
Hyphenation: Off


Captions:

Layout

Markers:

Placed on right page, far right hand page margin - centered and aligned to margin edge.

End Stop:

The end of the last line of your article should feature an End Stop. The end stop for sample is a + sign

Author Credits:

Placed at the end of your page article - One paragraph space below the last paragraph of your article and formatted as follows:

Word and Images by: [Your First and Last name here]
